Wellbeing & Disclaimer

Last updated: 11 July 2026

SOLIS is a philosophy-based self-improvement app. It is not medical care, therapy, or a mental-health treatment, and it is not a substitute for help from a qualified professional.

What SOLIS is

SOLIS offers daily lessons drawn from Stoic philosophy and general, non-clinical psychology, written to help you build discipline, resilience, clearer thinking, and purpose. It is educational and reflective in nature. It is meant to support a good life, not to diagnose or treat any condition.

What SOLIS is not

If you are living with depression, anxiety, or another mental-health condition, please treat SOLIS as a companion to professional care, never as a replacement for it. Talk to a doctor or a licensed mental-health professional about what is right for you.

If you are in crisis

If you are thinking about harming yourself or are in immediate danger, please reach out right now. You deserve support, and help is available.

Use your judgement

Some lessons suggest deliberate discomfort, such as waking early, cold exposure, or fasting. These are optional. Do not attempt anything that is unsafe for you, and check with a doctor first if you have a health condition, are pregnant, or are unsure whether a practice is safe.
